What Does the Claims Process Look Like?


If your insured package is lost, stolen, or damaged, Bimmer Euro will handle the claims process with our insurance provider, UPS Capital, on your behalf. Here’s what to expect:

    1.    Filing a Claim: We will submit the claim through UPS Capital’s online portal, providing details about the shipment along with the necessary documentation.

    2.    Required Documentation: To process the claim, we may need specific details, including order information, tracking details, and proof of value. For damaged items, photos of the product and packaging will be required. For stolen packages, a police report is necessary, and any video/photo evidence will strengthen the claim.

    3.    Claim Review & Status Updates: The claims adjuster will review the submitted information and determine whether the package qualifies for reimbursement or replacement. Customers can request updates through Bimmer Euro while we manage the process.

    4.    Claim Resolution & Payout: Claims are generally processed within a few days, not weeks. Depending on the outcome, we will either reship the order, issue a refund, or provide partial compensation based on the circumstances.
